who am i
I am Stéphanie, creator of the Stonology brand, wife and mother of two wonderful boys, forty-something, psychology student, hypnosis practitioner... Defining oneself is not an easy task, as we are constantly evolving.
I spent a long time searching for my place, guided by expectations that weren't always mine. Questioning these influences was a slow and sometimes painful process. I went through periods of doubt, confronting my fears and my limits. This questioning was an opportunity to learn about myself, to better understand my emotions, and to rethink the way I wanted to move forward.
Over time, I have discovered that we have the opportunity to reinvent ourselves, refine our choices and adjust our trajectory.
- I am learning to distinguish between my fears and reality, to not give them more space than they deserve.
- I am learning that life is about adjustments and that there is no such thing as a fixed truth.
- I am learning not to judge hastily, but to understand.
- I am learning to accept my imperfections and those of others.
All this is learned, little by little.
The choices that helped me the most were accepting my emotions rather than fighting them, letting go of what I cannot control, and being more in tune with my feelings and well-being.
Today, I feel more aligned with what truly drives me and I want to share what I have learned. It is with this in mind that I undertook studies in psychology, in order to deepen my understanding of human dynamics and how the mind works. This training allows me to acquire a more scientific and nuanced approach to emotional and relational mechanisms, and to integrate this knowledge into my daily work.
